Dear Readers we offer you our seasons greetings and as the Australian side of the family would say, “She’ll be right you’ll find “ in 2009.
With our Hercule Poirot head on, the fictional Belgian Detective created by Agatha Christie, we have been activating the little ‘grey cells’ over the last week and report to you accordingly.
Naturally, the big question that needs answering, is if the globapp.tv website is genuine and also the e-mail from Stella – watch my lips – I will never use e-mail to write to you again.
So that was the challenge and even dear Asia Moore, our sponsor, was succumbing to the pressure, as you will see from her e-mail that we published.
So ‘do we’ ‘don’t we’, we need an answer, so here goes – pause – whilst we carefully adjust our head and neck to a comfortable position on the executioner’s chopping block.
Domain Search
If you are reading this post, then you will have seen our postings of the results of our investigation with the help of WHOIS concerning the Globalpp.net domain name that expired and the globalpp.tv domain name that was incorporated. We have been asked about the .vt suffix. :
“ .TV domain names.
.TV is the fastest growing domain of all time and is raising the profile of thousands of businesses that have a strong media rich presence on the Web.
Far from being a niche domain for the TV industry, .TV is ideal for any website offering rich media content. Although most websites are simple with text-based pages, many businesses are now utilising the boundless capabilities of streaming video, audio and real time technologies. If you are part of this new generation of Web businesses, you need a .TV domain name.
TV is the most widely recognised two-letter symbol in the world, which means that a .TV domain name has real global potential. The domain is marketed globally by the dot TV Corporation and now has a very strong identity of its own, which makes it an ideal marketing tool for media rich sites.
.TV is currently being used by companies such as Sega of America, Columbia TriStar International Television, Granada Sky, IBM, Motorola, The Economist, British Telecom and Barclays Bank. “
Nothing sinister here then in the .tv suffix per se and you will see that the DigiRock people incorporated both domain names, so we conclude this as a PLUS POINT – one for the ‘do we’s’.
The .tv Website
We cannot stress enough how much help we have had from the readership which has included real acts of bravery – plenty of room on the chopping block fellas.
Naturally we took our life in our own hands and accessed the .tv website at a stage when the Forum was inaccessible and we were thrown back to a picture of Stella, taken on a hiking holiday, she has lost weigh since this was taken – Is that really Stella? – joke fellas.
Members have also tested the c-gold and Liberty Reserve payments systems – real tiger country here with hackers behind every bush – both have checked out OK and with transactions appearing immediately on the members Referral Table - another PLUS POINT for the ‘do we’s’.
The inclusion of a new e-mail address also warrants mention since this change was made to the ‘How to provide the documents?! ‘ posted on 5th November. So send your documents now to : documents@globalpp.tv another PLUS POINT for the ‘do we’s’.
The warnings on the browsers
Many of you have seen the warnings on the various browsers. We had this before when there were disruptions to the website, following what was described by Stella as DDoS attacks.
It is likely that a disgruntled member or a naysayer has reported GPP and the browser companies have reacted accordingly. It should be born in mind that this is only a warning not a statement of fact but warrants a MINUS POINT for the ‘don’t we’s’.
Just click on the ‘proceed anyway’ button and access the site the same as we did before, the warning will eventually disappear. Another PLUS POINT for the ‘do we’s’.
The post on the website
We read Stella’s post on the website dated 19th December, containing the apology and rated it as a genuine post from Stella having studied the language and the characteristic mistakes and our experience of many exchanges of e-mails in the past – gut feeling.
However a members wrote to us :
“As a trilingual professional linguist with over 20 years’ university-level teaching and research experience in the US, Europe and Japan, I have reason to believe that Stella’s latest message was almost certainly NOT written by Stella.
Thus the question is, what are the implications of such ‘ghost writing’?
As far as her (uncharacteristically) self-confessed “stupidity” is concerned, I find it hard to buy and even harder to swallow. Stella may very well have done a few dumb things — but this!? And now a mass Email? It simply doesn’t add up.”
After the member had return home to Scotland from Japan he followed up with :
“I stand by what I said about Stella’s writing, based on what I read in the forum. If her postings had been previously edited by a better non-native English speaker/writer, it would be a different story, though. Of course I am not privy to what you got directly from the horse’s mouth. But then I find so many of the same linguistic discrepancies between this mass Email/.tv-posting and her usual forum writing as there were between it and known fake Emails.”
Mmmmmm!! I’mm not prepared to concede to the member’s obvious superior intellect (we hope that makes you feel good as you tuck into a haggis and down a wee dram or three) so I make it a MINUS POINT for the ‘don’t we’s’ and a PLUS POINT for the ‘do we’s’.
IP Investigation
Here the readership really kicked in with help. We had on file the IP of the hackers who we believe hacked into the GPP Forum the last time we had trouble, it is 114.58.65.231 and the PC is in Indonesia.
The efforts of the members identified that the originating IP for Stella’s mail was 72.232.37.211 and thankfully not matching the scammers IP.OK they probably have hundreds of IP address through which they practice their evil trade and it is not conclusive proof, but we are studying minutia here so it is very comforting nevertheless and a further PLUS POINT for the ‘do we’s’
Where are you ?
We have been trying to locate ‘neverlands’ recently and have really hacked of a gentleman who lives and works in Venice, CA, USA, who has the same ‘day job’ name ie proper name, as our valued ‘neverlands’ , the same profile, is in marketing like our ‘neverlands’ must be, from the posts he wrote in the past. I have to say he does not look as good as our neverlands, but hey! beauty they say, is in the eyes of the beholder..
Well ‘neverlands’ if you are out there reading these scratchings, we would be pleased to hear from you at themco@gmail.com . Just in case you do not respond, we offer a reward for any information leading to our contacting him – awake or sober.
We digress – the final piece of the jigsaw, the keystone in the arch, the crux of our investigations
Information from a GPP Forum Moderator
Of course we are going to save the best to last as a thank you for taking the time to read this long post.
A reader mailed us to say that she had heard some very comforting news from one of the GPP Moderators. Refusing to work with hearsay information we asked our reader if we could be put in touch with the Moderator and we are glad to say that we have exchanged a few interesting mails with the Moderator already.
What we had been told by our reader, was exactly what we wanted to be able to tell you and we now can.
On hearing that a globalpp,tv website had appeared from the ether the Moderator told us :
“I immediately sent an email to Stella and got a reply within minutes that it was correct! Also that she should send mass mail to the members to tell them. The only way she could reach everyone. And she has done that, as you probably noticed.”
This exchange of e-mails between the Moderator and Stella would be using Stella’s personal e-mail address, so no chicanery possible here from any scammers.
We asked for a view on the overall position as the Moderator saw it – just an opinion you understand :
“ My view of the current situation? Well, Terry, never ever, for one second, I have doubt that GPP is serious! I have my trust in Stella, as she always been very kind and helpful and always stands by her word. I don’t think for one single minute that she would be dealing so hard with this program if she knew it was scam! Never! I’m totally confident with the successful finish of this program, so I tell everyone that asks for my opinion.
I would really like to calm the people down. The page is OK, Stellas e-mail is OK so everything is OK. Why can´t people take it easy! “
We think that our readership now can and that you, Madame Moderator, have cleared their minds of concern so that every reader’s family can have a very Happy Festive Season and look forward, with excitement, to 2009.
We score this as a BIG PLUS POINTS for the ‘do we’s’.
Thank you Madame Moderator on behalf of ourselves and our readership for your co-operation, advice and candour and we wish you and your friend Stella a Happy and relaxing Christmas .
Stella has taken a whole lot of stick recently from many quarters. Suggestions that she is not a real person at all and that STELLA is a synonym for some terrible organisation etc., etc., is crazy.
Back in 2007, only for about ten days, Stella set up the Google messaging service so that we could enjoy instant communication largely of a private nature. We are very pleased that we copied the dialogue of these calls, so that we can now demonstrate that Stella is a warm humorous person, contrary to the belief of some, if not many, GPP members.

GPP: terry, can I show you one question I just received?
Terry: Sure
GPP: 2. Since we are dealing with life insurance, is there a clause in the insurance policy which nulls the pay-out in case a member is pre-maturely killed by a hired assassin?
Terry: Is this a joke
GPP: no, unfortunately it isn’t
Terry: OK
Are we dealing with Life Insurance or Pensions
GPP: pension insurance
Sent at 13:12 on Tuesday
Terry: Once the pension insurance has been purchased by the Trust, why should the member be worried, it is not his responsibility if there are any exclusions to the pay out of the pension at maturity, since he has sold it to the Trust.
He should spend his time spending his compensation and watching out for that assassin.
GPP: you make me laugh!
Terry: Good!! Sometimes you are carrying the troubles of the world on your shoulders
GPP: should we build a safe-house for these endangered members?!
Just to make them feel safer
Terry: Do you mean lock them up. If so yes
GPP: just a safe place to relax after they have joined this highly dangerous program
Terry: What a crazy question to send you. AS if you are not busy enough already
Now you are making me laugh
In conclusion our investigations can be summarised as :
MINUS POINTS for the ‘don’t we’s’ = 2 ( TWO)
And
PLUS POINTS for the ‘do we’s’ = 7 ( SE –VERN, sorry a UK joke couldn’t resist it, as it is so topical and shows that doddery we are not)
So
The ‘do we’s’ have it (win) and you can get on as usual with using the new website and ignoring the browser warning.
We hope that these investigations have helped to create a more relaxed approach to the GPP transaction, since some members were getting near to having heart attacks with all the skeletons in the cupboards they were finding. So all is well and you can now get on with preparing for the holiday season with a light bouncy step and a happy heart
We send you all our Best Seasons Greetings and in return could you perhaps switch off your e-mail accounts for a few days. Thanks
