GPP – E-mails from support.

Saturday, August 1st, 2009

Or should we be careful to say, purporting to be from GPP support.

Now that the excitement relating to the  GPP Forum post of the 13th July has subsided, members from places near and far  are reporting receiving the below e-mail :

” From: Global Pension Plan <support@globalpp.tv>
To: ********@aol.com
Sent: Thu, 16 Jul 2009 13:56
Subject: 13th July update

Subject: Great News!

Dear GPP Members,

We have some great news for you today! This is what you’ve been waiting for!

Don’t delay but login to your member area and read the news now, please!

Sincerely,
Admin  ”

These e-mails are still being issued, so you are not on your own if you have just received one.
|
If they are from GPP they are sending them out in batches rather than  using the mass mail facility, if that is indeed working again. . Further with the numbers that we calculate the membership to be at this stage, it is a large task and will continue into August for sure.
|
Glass half empty : Potentially sent out by hackers – beware
|
Glass half full : Good sign. If they were going to run off at this stage, why send out a considerate mail such as the above. When they could just vanish out of sight, without a word, never to be heard of again.

GPP – HACKER – THE LENGTHS THAT HE GOES TO.

Thursday, July 16th, 2009

We have received several letters from Register.com to the themco@gmail.com e-mail address that was hacked previously, warning us that we need to renew our domain name Alliance-Leicester .co.nz .

Nothing sinister about such a reminder you may think, but when we tell you that our Bank in the UK is the Alliance & Leicester plc, recently changed it’s name to Santander Bank – who own it, then you may think differently. Particularly since the hacker plunder our Alliance & Leicester current account and savings account.

GPP – BEWARE A GPP bearing gifts

Thursday, July 16th, 2009

Many of you will have received an e-mail, ours was dated 15th July, allegedly from GPP, referring to the GPP forum post of 13th July and telling you to visit the post on the forum. Innocent enough but is it?

Having been the target of the GPP hacker for so long, we are sensitive to anything and everything.

Because we used two of our google e-mail accounts to register members into GPP we received the e-mail several times in each account.

Also we received the below e-mail allegedly from the G mail  Team – But Googlemail had highlighted the warning in RED  - read the text and the language, it is terrible English, Google would know better and have it checked prior to publishing.:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We remember the same thing happening at the beginning of the year, when Stella had not posted for a while and had made a post and then a couple of days later an e-mail drew our attention to the post – all out of sequence.
This heralded a period of hacking and we think that the same is happening now. PLEASE DO NOT CLICK ON THE “Cancel the Gmail account closure ” LINK.
If you have advertantly done so immeduiately change your password, in fact change yur password anyway even if you have not clicked the link.
STAY VIGULENT OVER THE COMING DAYS/WEEKS – Look  out! Look out ! THERE IS A HACKER ABOUT !!
GPP – Nice surprise or what?
Monday, July 13th, 2009
So we have our GPP post at last. Hooray!!
Is your glass half full, or half empty?
Half empty glass :
Having exhausted using the new registrations as a way of getting additional money out of the membership, GPP are now resorting to getting another €420,000 out of us, by encouraging us to buy 42,000 of Additional Policies (APs).
Saying that the 100K is now complete, is designed to lifts our spirits and attempts to give us trust in GPP.
It’s not our fault, it is the Insurance Company, who wants them sold, we are told
Can’t you just  see the post in 2/3 months time – ” We have still got ‘x’ thousand AP’s that need to be sold before the transaction can complete and these must be sold by ‘x’  months later and this is our final deadline – by order of the Insurance Company“.
Why do they need 2/3months to process the documents?  Stella told us earlier that whilst the final registration  were being sold that the time would be spent processing the documents they had to hand, now we are being told that they need 2/3months.
Surely the opportunity cannot be judged as being successful until we get paid.
Half full glass :
What a great piece of news from GPP.
At last the  requirement for 100K of ID documents has been satisfied. We have done it, we are involved in probably the first successful  Reverse Pension Plan (RPP)
In 2-3 months we will have a payout and as a bonus we can still buy some more APs, so will it be an Aston to go with the Ferarri or an  apartment within skiing distance of the ski lift, to compliment the villa on the beach near the golf club and marina.
How nice to be able to think about spending it again.
At last thoughts of a Merry Christmas/year end celebrations since in 2/3months we will be paid – how exciting.
Lets top up the other half of the glass.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

So it is all down to interpretation and a gut feeling concerning how you view GPP.

Let’s face it, less than 2 weeks ago the talk was that GPP had disappeared, done a runner with our money, scammed us rotten.

So it has to be said in their favour, firstly the site came back after they paid the hosting fee, presumably, as happened before, thank you GPP and that this post today was extremely timely, thank you GPP.

We are sure that the general reaction will be positive, so to those with the glass half empty – ‘down the hatch  ( hatch =  mouth) and drown your sorrows and to those with their glass half full enjoy the other half.

GPP – Well I never!!

Thursday, July 9th, 2009

We are pleased to report that we have been able to access the Global Pension Plan website is evening.

It was a little bit slow, but hey who cares!!! at least we got in and all the pages seemed to work. We even tried to send you all a mass mail, but that has not worked for ages, even though it gives a message that it has been sent successfully.

No doubt 300K + members all trying to access the site at the same time, slows it down.

Back to the old patience routine then!!
